The Friends of Alston Hall was established in 1989
to support the work of the college.

The membership year runs from April until the end of the following March, and a renewal reminder is usually sent out with the March newsletter. As a Friend you will enjoy benefits such as a regular newsletter (usually 5 in the year), priority booking of courses and a programme of social events and trips.

Recent contributions by the 'Friends' to the college include:-
 a.. A stained glass window in the chapel
 b.. Chairs for the lecture room
 c.. Help with garden drainage
 d.. The fountain in the walled garden
 e.. New furniture for the bar area
 f.. Comfortable settees for the conservatory
 g.. A new piano
 h.. Finance with the installation of en-suite bedrooms

Forthcoming Evenings & Events 2010
All Friends Evenings -  unless stated otherwise are 7.00pm for 7.30pm charged at £6 per head payable on the night.
A light meal/buffet is included. All evenings must be booked at least two days in advance
by telephone (01254 885907) or email (w.singleton@tesco.net)
Cancellations received less that two working days in advance, or non-attendance on the night,
will be charged in full.
Non-members may attend two events only as guests (£8 per head).
Annual membership thereafter is £8 single, £10 joint.
